Charlotte comes to RussellPlatt Associates from 4 years as Senior Consultant with DixonRaines, where she worked on a number of projects with organisations including Welsh National Opera, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Theatre Royal Norwich, The Beaney Institute, Northern Ballet Theatre, The Lowry, Bristol Old Vic, Luton Arts Carnival and others. She has given presentations and workshops for Arts & Business and the Ministry of Culture & Communications in Paris. Working in a variety of commercial enterprises before joining the Royal Exchange Theatre, she established the Development Department and managed its growth to a department of four. In her time there she ran one of the most successful Corporate Membership Schemes in the country attracting over 100 businesses and generating in excess of £1/4M per annum. In addition, she developed numerous award-winning sponsorship partnerships and in her role as Development Director she also led the £2M capital campaign to rebuild the theatre following the Manchester bomb in 1996. Her wide-ranging experience covers all aspects of fundraising from Corporate Membership and Sponsorship initiatives to Individual Giving, Major Donor and Legacy programmes, Capital Appeals and Trust & Foundation fundraising. She also has extensive experience of organising events both large and small : from royal gala evenings and fundraising auctions to discreet cultivation of high level donor prospects. Her interest lies in helping organisations to realise their full potential be that advising on the initial feasibility of fundraising and where to start, to help with recruitment and mentoring, advice on integrating the fundraising function within an organisation, the role of the Board and Fundraising Committees and auditing established programmes to ensure maximum output. Charlotte is an advisor to Arts & Business, a Trustee of Waters Edge Arts and a certified member of the Institute of Fundraising. |
